Free Website SEO Audit

Marketing ToolsA crawl-based audit with Core Web Vitals, broken links and prioritised fixes.

We start here and follow internal links, up to 25 pages.

We email you the full report and a link that keeps working. Required for this one tool — the crawl costs real work. Nothing else on this site asks.

  • Crawls up to 25 internal pages, respecting robots.txt
  • Finds duplicate titles, thin pages and broken links
  • Adds Core Web Vitals from Google, where available
  • Takes up to a minute — we crawl politely, not fast
No email, or want to run it again?

The report is emailed from info@cheekytools.com — check spam if it is not in your inbox, and mark it as not spam so the next one arrives.

Results are cached for 24 hours per URL, so running the same site again inside that window returns the same report rather than re-crawling. Come back the next day to see changes reflected.

Audit report

Enter a site to crawl. You will get a scored report with the issues that appear across multiple pages — the ones a single-page check cannot see.

How this is calculated

1. Fetch robots.txt and honour it
2. Crawl breadth-first from the start URL, internal links only
   caps: 25 pages, 60 seconds, 3 at a time, 200ms between requests
3. Run the full on-page check set against every page
4. Compare pages to find what only a crawl can see:
duplicate titles and descriptions, thin pages, orphans,
accidental noindex, mixed content, broken links
5. Add Core Web Vitals from Google PageSpeed Insights

How it works

The audit starts at your URL and follows internal links, breadth-first, running the same twenty-odd on-page checks against every page it finds. That part is just the single-page checker at scale.

The value is in what comes next: comparing pages against each other. Duplicate titles, meta descriptions reused across a section, pages nothing links to, a stray noindex on a page you want traffic to — none of these are visible when you look at one page in isolation. They are also, in practice, the issues that cost the most traffic.

Findings are grouped rather than listed per page. If forty pages are missing a meta description, that is one issue affecting forty pages, not forty issues. A report you can act on beats a report that is exhaustive.

The crawl is deliberately polite: it respects robots.txt including Allow and Disallow precedence, waits between requests, and honours any crawl-delay you have set. It stops at 25 pages or 60 seconds. This is a diagnostic, not a load test on someone else's server.

Worked example

A 40-page site where the whole blog section shares one title

  1. crawl reaches 25 pages, 12 of them blog posts
  2. 12 pages share the title 'Blog | Company Name'
  3. grouped as one HIGH issue affecting 12 pages
  4. 8 posts also under 300 words -> one MEDIUM issue

2 site-wide issues instead of 20 separate page warnings

How to use it

  1. Enter your site URL and your email, then run the audit. It takes up to a minute.
  2. Start with the site-wide issues, ordered by severity. These affect many pages at once and usually give the biggest return.
  3. Check the weakest pages list for individual pages dragging the average down.
  4. Use the single-page SEO checker afterwards to work through a specific page in detail.

What this tool does not do

  • It crawls at most 25 pages. A large site gets a sample, not a full picture, and the report says so.
  • It reads server-delivered HTML. Content added by JavaScript after load is not seen.
  • It follows links only, so pages that are not linked from anywhere will not be found at all.
  • Core Web Vitals depend on Google's API and may be unavailable.
  • It cannot tell you whether your content is good, which is usually the real constraint.

Frequently asked questions

Why does this tool ask for an email when nothing else here does?

Because it does real work — a multi-page crawl, third-party API calls and a generated report. Every other tool on this site gives you the answer with no gate, and that will not change.

How many pages does it crawl?

Up to 25, or 60 seconds, whichever comes first. If it stops early the report tells you how many URLs were still queued, so you know the findings are a sample.

Does it respect robots.txt?

Yes, properly. It applies the group matching our user-agent in preference to the wildcard group, honours Allow and Disallow with longest-match precedence, supports wildcards and end anchors, and waits for any crawl-delay you specify.

What are Core Web Vitals?

Three measurements Google uses as a ranking signal: LCP (how long the main content takes to appear), CLS (how much the layout jumps about) and INP (how quickly the page responds to interaction). Where possible the report shows real Chrome user data rather than a lab simulation.

Why are Core Web Vitals sometimes missing?

They come from Google's PageSpeed Insights API, which needs a key and is not always available. When they are missing the report says so plainly — everything else is measured directly and is unaffected.

What counts as an orphan page?

A page the crawl reached that no other crawled page links to. Since the crawl only follows links, these usually arrive via a redirect or a sitemap. They are hard for both crawlers and readers to find.

Why are duplicate titles rated high severity?

Because identical titles make your own pages compete with each other for the same terms, and make the site look thin or templated. It is one of the most common and most fixable site-wide problems.

Can I audit a site I do not own?

Technically yes — it only reads public pages, exactly like a search engine. Please use it responsibly and on sites you have a legitimate reason to analyse.
